Text Stats details

Analyze text for word count, character count, sentence count, and reading time. Text Stats is now a native Toolars workspace for local copy analysis, structure review, and reading-time handoff.

Native workspaceFreeTextStatsReading time

Overview

Text Stats analyzes pasted copy for characters, non-space characters, words, sentences, paragraphs, lines, estimated reading time, estimated speaking time, and repeated top words. The workspace migrates the Aixtral source behavior into Toolars-native input, metric, top-word, and review panels so writers, editors, and developers can inspect copy locally before publishing.

How it works

1Paste copyAdd drafts, docs, snippets, release notes, or article sections directly in the local workspace.Input
2Calculate structureCount words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, and lines with deterministic browser-side rules.Stats
3Estimate timingUse 200 words per minute for reading time and 130 words per minute for speaking time estimates.Timing
4Review repetitionInspect the top repeated words before handing copy to case conversion, slug generation, or publishing.Review

Local text analysis model

LocalSource text is analyzed in the browser and is not uploaded for metric calculation.
DeterministicCounts and timing estimates come from transparent local rules, so results remain reviewable.
PublicThis tool has a dedicated Toolars workspace, source-backed library implementation, and focused tests.
